Deep, concentrated Rioja from old vines between 40 and 50 years old grown in rocky terrain above 525 meters. This classic estate-bottled red was aged 18 months in 65% French / 35% American oak barrels, with one-fourth new barrels. Shows complex aromas of black cherry and currant, with notes of black pepper, coffee bean, nutmeg, Indian spices and vanilla.
